Lily Pad Soup Haikus

Dip the lily pads

Swirl them in tomato soup

His pond is your bowl.

Lounge on the green pad

Caesar pops grapes in your mouth

And rubs your tummy.

Dead frog on a pad

All other frogs gather round

And ribbit a hymn.

Lily pads hoist sails

Ride the wind to Waikiki

And hook seaweed brides.

Love is a soup bowl

Full of blue ice and parsley

And still delicious.
