Wilted Roses Haikus

Roses wilt at dawn

For the woman with no eyes

So give her the night.

Plant weeds with roses

And scent chaff with lavender

The devil’s garden.

She wears her old skin

Like a wilted petal drooped

Revealing her crown.

Dig up the dead rose

There is still life to be lived

Watered in His vase.

A rose is a rose

A bit of God in the sun

When the Word is done.
