Hidden Walkway Haikus

I walk on bare feet

Stone tablets hold up my flesh

And a feather vane.

She counts down from ten

I hide where she cannot see

Till winds scatter me.

Fifth side of a square

Marbled path beside a hedge

With ivory gates.

Take her little hand

And walk her into the shade

Where the serpent is.

Walk into the trees

No one will ever find you

Except for yourself.
