Lost and Found

We need not always lament the lost soul. Being lost can be a blessing, even if disguised at the time. For the lost soul is like a man thrown overboard. He bobs about the waves a while, and indeed the currents can be treacherous.

With perseverance and prayer, though, he may find that obscure island out there that is his true self. He may wash ashore and start to build his own home among the sun swept palms and the coconuts. Since no one else ever has been there, he will see the sunsets from that shoreline as no other man has.
