Nine years ago I had a dream I recounted in my journal. The details are as follows:
I am with my bride and our Shih Tzu, Shansi, in the parking lot of a supermarket. In particular, we are at the Longs Drugs that used to be across the street from St. Justin’s Catholic Church in Santa Clara. I am about to put Shansi in the shopping cart to go into the store, but my bride does not want me to do so. Instead, while she shops inside, she wants me to sit on a bench outside with Shansi. I put Shansi in a plastic bag that would normally be used for carrying fruits and vegetables, but I am careful to keep the bag open so that he can breathe the whole time. I sit on a park bench in front of the store with Shansi in the bag beside me. I am very protective of him.
