Morning Walk Haikus

I walk with a friend

Morning dew in my right hand

We talk with no words.

Boots on loose gravel

No marking left behind me

Home is the next step.

Bird whispers morning

Soft voice from a feather flute

Love is an echo.

Sun dappled forest

She sways her dress in dawn light

Morning lovers dance.

There is no other

Path starts and stops where I am

Bride walks to her groom.
