Like the priest so carefully handles the instruments of his craft inside the holy sanctuary, so should lovers of words with hammer, chisel, and stone. What we write remains indelibly marked long after time erodes the surfaces. They can be salves or wounds, and the derivations of each are seldom foreseen or controllable.
And I am proud to be a writer and so are you, I guess. And that’s why I guess, we should be careful with words.
