Flower Fire Haikus

Black boots tear gas sun

Smoke falling like gray raindrops

Turn to the sports page.

Hearts hardened crackling

Bones snapping in the bonfire

Black bird lullaby.

Pull down the dead stone

Chiseled name unreadable

Flaming broom cleans house.

Hyena salts bread

Hot thorns spice up morning tea

Straightening bowtie.

I am a bad man

Clickbait virtue to the sun

Swamp buries waxed wings.
